Welcome to 252 Basics! 252 Basics curriculum is designed to provoke discovery and invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus. We teach three basic, but powerful, truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52.
- I need to make the wise choice
- I can trust God no matter what
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated
During UpStreet, kids will enjoy small and large group environments. Small groups start with an Opener and end with a Closer in their individual graded rooms. Kids will join all grades for large group which provides a dynamic and interactive Bible story and prayer experience.

KidStuf family experience allows kids to worship on their level. Our goal is to encourage kids to listen to God’s words (HEAR), help them to dialogue with God (Pray), articulate their faith (TALK), and worship with their lives (LIVE). Parents Are Allowed! They will meet our great cast of characters with Gordo, Grandpa Henry, Mrs. F, and many more, experience The Word where God’s Word comes to life, learn life applications known as LifeApps, GetReel video segment, and worship through music.

From birth through PreK, through age appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know these three basic truths:
- God Made
- God Loves Me
- Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever
Toddler and Preschool curriculum provides monthly activities for purposeful play. During our Worship Care hour, they will hear a Bible story, do crafts, and learn new songs each week.
Parents will receive a monthly Parent Cue as well as a weekly Cue handed out during First Look or Worship Care. These provide ideas for Play Time, Drive Time, Bath Time, Cuddle Time and Morning Time that connect what preschoolers are learning at church with what they’re hearing at home.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

VBS will take kids on an adventure like no other, deep within the mysterious sea. As kids submerge themselves in God’s Word, they will discover that Jesus didn’t just see what’s on the outside of people. He looked deep down on the inside. So strap on your flippers, and dive in to find truth below the surface! Childcare and VBS classes for worker’s children that are birth thru 4 yr. olds. Registration begins in May. BUS TRANSPORTATION will be provided FREE
for pickup and drop-off for those living in Lenoir City at the following locations:
- Bon Street, pickup will be approximately 8:05 am
- Oakwood Housing Authority/Allison Drive, pickup will be approximately 8:15 am
- McGhee Square Apartments, pickup will be approximately 8:30 am
- Return will be around 12:15-12:40 pm
- They will be picked up and dropped off at their home each day
- All riders MUST have a completed Registration Form
- Someone will be contacting you prior to VBS

GOSPEL PROJECT

The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God’s story-the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events, all the while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ. As the school year starts, Kindergartners will now be attending an UpStreet Class as well as KidStuf for the first time. With this, comes new explorations into God’s Word the Bible. Each Kindergartner will be presented with a Bible during our morning Worship service. Parents will also be invited to come check out their UpStreet class, join them for KidStuf, and enjoy a luncheon in their child’s honor. Specifics will be mailed to families early August. June 26-30 we are headed for Campbellsville University in Kentucky. CK is a summer camp sponsored by LifeWay Christian Resources. LifeWay provides great Bible teachers, worship leaders, and activity leaders. The Camp Staff are always super cool! This year’s theme UNSEEN, they will study the passage of Ephesians 6:10-2 and learn how the armor of God is powerful and real, although it is unseen. The Cost is $244 per camper. Deposits are due by February 7 and balances are due May 15. Payments can be made on-line. Contact Arlene Byler for more info!
